Structured cabling is a cable network installation of multiple purpose, built as a single system or as multiple sub-systems in one or multiple buildings with the possibility to be connected together.
Structured Cabling:
- defines a star topology network design
- specifies the permissible connectivity distance
- specifies the type of joints and ways to connect
- defines the requirements for the quality parameters of particular elements and the whole network system regardless of the chosen medium of cable system
Structured Cabling must be performed according to EN 50173 and EN 50174 standards.
