Wireless networks are solutions that allow you to connect computer networks for data transmission. Wireless networking is actually a computer network used in an institution, office or home. It works on the same principle as the classical wired networks (LAN – local area network), but we do not need a physical connection (cable) between two or more computers that want to network.
Computer connection takes place via radio communications or radio waves. Today there are several different standards for wireless networking. One of 802.11x standard is 802.11g bandwidth 54Mbit’s. Devices that are used for wireless connection, wireless network card and access point work on unlicensed frequency range.
Like the classic network – LAN, wireless network – WLAN can be simple and complex! To make the two computers networked it is necessary to use at least two wireless network cards and a driver. Such a connection is called Point to Point. Two or more computers can be networked through the Access Point, which can be understood as a network switch or hub.
